12 dead in Uttar Pradesh as extreme weather wreaks havoc across multiple districts

Severe weather has claimed at least 12 lives across Uttar Pradesh overnight. Fatalities were reported from Pratapgarh, Kaushambi, Shahjahanpur, Fatehpur, and Hamirpur, where a bridge collapse occurred. Authorities are assessing damage and deploying emergency teams for relief and rescue operations.
