UK Visas go digital: eVisas to fully replace visa stickers in 2026 What travellers need to know

The UK is phasing out physical visa stickers for a fully digital immigration system by 2026. From January 12, 2026, most visit visas will be eVisas, viewable via a UKVI account. Applications from October 30, 2025, for certain visas may not receive stickers at all, requiring digital access.
