900 snakes escape from South China's village farm after devastating floods: Residents panic as snakebites reported

Heavy floods in South China's Guangxi region have caused widespread fear among residents. Approximately nine hundred snakes, including venomous cobras, escaped from a farm after it was destroyed. Local media reports indicate that several villagers have already been bitten by the escaped reptiles. Residents are facing a shortage of medical supplies for snakebite treatment. A snake-catching team has been formed by unaffected neighbors to assist in capturing the creatures.
