Snowfall in Kashmir disrupts air travel; all incoming and outgoing Srinagar flights cancelled

Kashmir awoke to a fresh snowfall on Tuesday, leading to the closure of the Srinagar-Jammu national highway and the suspension of all flight operations at Srinagar International Airport. Hundreds of tourists were left stranded as adverse weather conditions rendered the runway unsafe. Operations will resume once conditions improve and the runway is cleared.
