India's first bullet train launch timeline revealed; route, speed, stations and everything we know so far

India's first bullet train section will begin phased passenger operations by August 2027. This significant milestone promises faster domestic travel and improved connectivity for travelers. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor uses Japanese Shinkansen technology and is partially funded by JICA. Hyderabad is designated as a key junction for three proposed high-speed rail corridors. These future corridors will connect Hyderabad to Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
