Colorectal surgeon shares 5 things she avoids to lower colon cancer risk

Colorectal cancer, once considered a disease of older adults, is increasingly being diagnosed in younger people. A study by the American Cancer Society (ACS) found that earlyonset colorectal cancer cases are rising in 27 out of 50 countries worldwide. Research shows that diet and lifestyle choices play a major role in colorectalcancer risk. In a recent Instagram post, LA based colorectal surgeon Dr Karen Zaghiyan listed five things she avoids to lower cancer risk.
