A Bengaluru software professional fell victim to a two-stage honeytrap orchestrated via a dating app. After an initial encounter where he was robbed and threatened, he was lured to a second meeting only to be assaulted and extorted again. Police have arrested five individuals, including two women, in connection with the incidents.
