Budget 2026: Bengaluru to get high-speed rail corridors; check routes

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced plans for seven high-speed rail corridors in Budget 2026, aiming to connect major urban centers and boost emerging cities. Two of these corridors will link Bengaluru with Hyderabad and Chennai. This initiative aims to promote sustainable passenger transport and infrastructure growth in tier-two and tier-three cities.
