Bengaluru: Astrologer promises to build temple, dupes teacher of Rs 1 crore, 180g gold

A 56-year-old music teacher has accused an astrologer and three associates of defrauding her of nearly Rs 1 crore in cash and 180 grams of gold. The accused allegedly exploited her faith, promising to build a Goddess Lakshmi temple in Kapu, Udupi district.
