BSNL rolls out in-house Sanchar Mitra app nationwide after KYC disruption

BSNL has launched its own 'Sanchar Mitra' app nationwide, replacing the older Aadhaar-based system. Developed by BSNL engineers, this in-house solution aims to streamline and improve new customer onboarding services. The move follows the expiry of a contract with a private firm, ensuring uninterrupted SIM card issuance and customer registration across India.
