UP govt has high hopes from budget as it enters election year; eyes health and infrastructure boost

Uttar Pradesh anticipates significant support from the upcoming Union Budget. The state government has requested funds for a new AIIMS in West UP and outstanding payments for the Namami Gange scheme. A new expressway connecting north and south UP is also planned. The state also seeks increased urbanisation funds to reflect its current growth.
