Jammu Kashmir: Govt Sanctions Rs 361 Crore Integrated Solid Waste Management Project at Achan

SRINAGAR: The Council of Ministers has approved the establishment of an 800 tonnes-per-day Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM) Project at Achan in Srinagar at an estimated cost of Rs 361 crore. Officials said the project is aimed at strengthening waste management infrastructure in the city and improving scientific disposal and processing of municipal solid waste. []
