Rakesh Aggarwal Appointed Director General Of NIA

Srinagar, Jan 14: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Shri Rakesh Aggarwal, IPS, as the Director General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), according to an official order issued on Wednesday. As per the order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) , Government of India, Shri Aggarwal, a 1994-batch IPS officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre, is currently serving as Special Director General (SDG) in the NIA.
