Uttar Pradesh Offers 20% Job Reservation for Agniveers as Central Government Considers Service Extension

The Central Government is contemplating extending the service tenure of Agniveers from four to six years, while Uttar Pradesh has announced a 20% job reservation for them in state positions. This initiative aims to support former Agniveers transitioning to civilian roles. The proposal is under review, with a decision expected soon.
