'Gunsmoke' Roger Ewing passes away at 83

Veteran actor Roger Ewing, celebrated for his role as Marshal Thad Greenwood in the iconic Western 'Gunsmoke', has passed away at 83. Ewing, who also made guest appearances as Ben Lukens on the show, began his acting career in 1964. After leaving Hollywood, he pursued photography and resided in Morro Bay. His family recently announced his December 18th passing.
