The thriller 'Anomie: The Equation of Death,' starring Bhavana and Rahman, had a sluggish start at the box office, earning just Rs 23 lakhs worldwide on its opening day. The film's dark, emotional theme and crime mystery plot failed to draw significant crowds, with the Malayalam version collecting Rs 18 lakhs and the Tamil version a mere Rs 2 lakhs.
