Wells Fargo confirms one-day nationwide shutdown of all 4,227 branches in January

Wells Fargo is set to temporarily close all its branches nationwide for a full 24 hours. This closure will occur on January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Customers will need to plan ahead for in-person services. Online and ATM services will remain available. Other major banks are also expected to follow a similar holiday schedule.
