'We gave votes': Big blunder in Bihar welfare scheme, men get Rs 10,000 meant for women and now they defy recovery notices

In Bihar's Darbhanga, officials are struggling to recover Rs 10,000 credited to male villagers despite sending them recovery notices. The welfare flagship programme was meant for women but due to technical problem the money was credited to male villagers. Now, the villagers are saying we spent the money during Diwali and Chhath with one of them demanding their votes back.
