Vande Bharat TTE caught asking Rs 380 to arrange Rs 750 seat for passenger, Railways responds after viral video

A Traveling Ticket Examiner (TTE) with Indian Railways was suspended after a viral video showed him allegedly offering an unofficial discounted Vande Bharat Express ticket. The TTE reportedly negotiated a fare of Rs 380, later increasing it to Rs 750 when a receipt was requested. Railway rules permit penalties for un-ticketed passengers, not unofficial payments without receipts.
