Uttarakhands House of Himalayas board clears key proposals at sixth meeting

Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan led the House of Himalayas board meeting. Key decisions included expanding self-help groups and federations. The board approved GI tagging and organic certification for product quality. Warehouse capacity will be increased in Garhwal, Kumaon, and Delhi NCR. MoUs with Aromatic Plant Centre and Doon Silk Federation are planned.
