Uttarakhand Cabinet cuts VAT on natural, raises medical faculty age limit

The Uttarakhand Cabinet has approved several key decisions. Value-added tax on natural gas has been reduced to five percent. The monthly pension for writers and artists has been doubled to six thousand rupees. The maximum age for appointing professors and associate professors in medical education is now sixty-two years. The government will also purchase apples from disaster-affected areas.
