Two Indian peacekeepers to be honoured posthumously on International Peacekeepers Day

Two Indian peacekeepers will be honored posthumously by the UN for their ultimate sacrifice. Major Abhilasha Barak of India will receive the Military Gender Advocate of the Year award. India is a significant contributor to UN peacekeeping missions. The UN commemorates peacekeepers annually on May 29. This year's theme is 'Invest in Peace'.
