Two Assam Rifles personnel killed in Manipur ambush

Two Assam Rifles personnel died and others were injured in an ambush. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon at Nungshang Kong on NH 202. Heavy gunfire continued for several hours after the initial attack. Manipur CM Y Khemchand Singh condemned the killings and promised justice. State home minister Govindas Konthoujam also condemned the attack.
