StanChart targets higher return in 2028, plans 15% cut in corporate roles by 2030

Standard Chartered on Tuesday raised its profitability target, aiming for a return on tangible equity of more than 15% by 2028 and about 18% by 2030, after achieving its earlier 2026 targets ahead of schedule.
