Same-gender driver option to be mandatory on cab apps

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has mandated cab aggregators to offer passengers the option to select a driver of the same gender, where available, to enhance safety. Additionally, the guidelines now permit voluntary tipping by passengers after the completion of a ride.
