Reliance, BP, Niko seek amicable settlement in KG basin gas dispute; SC defers hearing to July 21

The Supreme Court has postponed the Krishna-Godavari gas dispute hearing. Reliance Industries and its partners wish to settle the matter amicably with the Centre. The government is open to conciliation. The court will now hear the case on July 21. This follows a Delhi High Court decision that set aside an arbitration award favouring Reliance in a dispute with ONGC.
