Ration card income eligibility to be raised to Rs 2.5 lakh per annum in Delhi

The Delhi government has cancelled over seven lakh ration cards. A significant audit removed invalid cards due to income, non-receipt of rations, deaths, and duplicates. The government is now inviting fresh online applications for ration cards. The income eligibility limit for new cards will be raised to Rs 2.5 lakh per annum.
