Radio contact lost with jet believed to be carrying Libyan army chief over Ankara as flights diverted from Turkish capital

A private jet reportedly carrying Libya's army chief of staff, Mohammed Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad, has lost radio contact over Ankara. Flight tracking data shows diversions from Esenboga airport. Turkey's defence ministry had announced Al-Haddad's visit earlier this week. He met his Turkish counterpart and other military commanders. Turkish officials have not yet commented on the situation.
