RBI gets another Rs 74 crore of RS 2,000 notes in November

The Reserve Bank of India has received another Rs 74 crore of Rs 2,000 notes in November. This brings the total circulation down to Rs 5,743 crore. The RBI had announced the withdrawal of these notes in May 2023. Banks accepted them until October 7. Now, RBI offices and India Post are facilitating their deposit.
