PV Sindhu enters semi-finals of Japan Open

P V Sindhu reached the Japan Open semifinals after Nozomi Okuhara withdrew from their match. This marks Sindhu's first Super 750 semifinal appearance in nearly three years. She will now face Tokyo Olympic champion Chen Yufei in the last four. Chen Yufei secured her semifinal spot by defeating Sim Yu Jin. Sindhu's last win against Chen came at the 2019 World Championships.
