PM Narendra Modi renaming MGNREGA to claim credit for revolutionary scheme: Congress

The Union Cabinet has approved a Bill to rename the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) to 'Poojya Bapu Grameen Rozgar Yojna' and increase workdays to 125. Congress criticized the move, calling it a cosmetic change to mask deliberate neglect and an attempt to claim credit for a scheme they initiated.
