One or two benches of Supreme Court may sit on December 22 to hear urgent cases: CJI Surya Kant

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant will hear urgent cases on December 22. This is the first day of the Supreme Court's Christmas and New Year holidays. The apex court registry will verify case urgency. Junior lawyers must argue their matters on this day. The court will be closed from December 22 until January 2, 2026.
