An 800-year-old Chinese exercise once practiced quietly in parks and public squares is now drawing global attention after scientists discovered it may help lower high blood pressure naturally. A new study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology found that baduanjin, a gentle routine combining slow movements, breathing and meditation produced blood pressure improvements comparable to brisk walking and even some medications.
