Maharashtra govt mandates use of Marathi for revenue hearings, orders

The Maharashtra government has mandated the use of Marathi in all revenue department quasi-judicial hearings and orders. A new standard operating procedure requires revenue officers to conduct hearings twice weekly. Adjournments will be limited to one instance for valid reasons. All orders must be uploaded digitally.
