Maharashtra: 8 Maoists arrested, 5 senior cadres surrender before Gadchiroli Police and CRPF

Gadchiroli Police and CRPF have achieved a major success against Maoists. Eight Maoists were arrested, including senior leaders. Five more senior cadres surrendered. This operation dealt a significant blow to Maoist activities in the district. Security forces seized numerous weapons and cash. Maoism in Gadchiroli is now largely confined to border areas.
