LG Vinai Saxena approves major wage rationalisation reforms for daily wagers in Ladakh

Ladakh's Lieutenant Governor has approved a significant wage increase for daily, part-time, seasonal, and need-based workers. Skilled workers will now earn Rs 575 daily, while unskilled workers will receive Rs 450. This decision aims to benefit thousands of workers across various departments. Wages will be disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer. The administration emphasizes this is wage rationalization, not regularization.
