India's CWG weightlifting quota reduced due to doping violations; Dilbagh withdrawn

India's weightlifting representation at the Commonwealth Games has diminished from sixteen to eleven quotas, resulting in Dilbagh Singh's withdrawal due to injury and the impact of doping violations. The quota cut was necessitated by several Anti-Doping Rule Violations infractions during the qualifying stages, which have led to bans for N Ajith, Sairaj Pardeshi, and Harcharan Singh, in addition to sanctions against Vanshita Verma.
