India, Bhutan discuss ways to boost energy cooperation

India's Power Minister Manohar Lal met Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck to boost energy ties. Discussions focused on hydro-electric projects. The minister will attend the Punatsangchhu-I dam construction start on April 10. This highlights strong India-Bhutan energy cooperation. A protocol for Punatsangchhu-II export tariff was also signed.
