IAF set to begin Exercise Pitch Black 2026 in Australia on Monday with Rafale, C-17 and IL-78

The Indian Air Force begins its participation in Exercise Pitch Black 2026. This biennial multinational air combat exercise is hosted by the Royal Australian Air Force. The Indian contingent will operate Rafale fighter aircraft and support aircraft. The exercise aims to enhance interoperability and operational best practices among forces. It provides an opportunity to strengthen professional partnerships across the Indo-Pacific region.
