Houthi rebels strike a government military camp in southern Yemen, killing at least 20 fighters

Iranian-backed Houthi rebels fired two ballistic missiles at a government military camp in Southern Yemen, killing at least 20 soldiers. The camp was situtated in the southern province of Shabwa. The escalation between the Houthis and forces of the Saudi-backed government shattered a 2022 ceasefire deal that largely stopped fighting in Yemen's civil war. Earlier, Saudi-led forces killed 9 people in Houthi-held northern province of Saada.
