Heatwave to continue in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are bracing for a heatwave with temperatures expected to be 2-3 degrees Celsius above normal, coupled with high humidity, until May 5. Several districts will experience significantly higher temperatures, with Vellore already recording 42.4C. Isolated heavy rains with thunderstorms are also forecast for some districts.
