Goa nightclub fire: 'Landowner' claims officials quietly changed property status

The original owner of the land where the 'Birch by Romeo Lane' nightclub stood has alleged his property was rezoned from a salt pan to a settlement zone without his knowledge. Pradeep Ghadi Amonkar, who is in a legal battle over the land, discovered the change while preparing to sue the club following a fatal fire.
