Ghaziabad tops list of most polluted cities in November; NCR dominates rankings

Ghaziabad recorded the highest pollution levels in November. The National Capital Region dominated the list of most polluted cities. Air quality remained poor across many cities in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Stubble burning's impact was lower than last year. Persistent pollution sources like vehicles and industries are driving these levels. Shillong in Meghalaya was the cleanest city.
