Funds earmarked under CDF non-lapsable; savings exceed Rs 25 crore: J&K CM Omar Abdullah

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah confirmed Constituency Development Fund money does not lapse. Savings have surpassed Rs 25 crore. Funds are available for future development projects. The scheme was reintroduced in 2024-25. An amount of Rs 427.50 crore is allocated for 2025-26. This ensures continuous funding for MLA-led development works.
