Ex-Suvendu loyalist rejoins TMC amid speculations he may be pitted against Bengal LoP in Nandigram

A former BJP panchayat chief, Pabitra Kar, has rejoined the ruling TMC. Kar was known to be close to senior BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. His return fuels speculation that he may contest against Adhikari in the Nandigram assembly seat. Kar had previously quit TMC to join BJP. This move comes ahead of the TMC candidate list announcement.
