Election Commission orders transfer of officials in Kerala ahead of Assembly polls

The Election Commission has ordered the transfer of several IAS and IPS officers in Kerala. This reshuffle is part of the poll preparedness for the upcoming Assembly elections on April 9. Key appointments include new district police chiefs and collectors. The transfers are effective immediately. Officers transferred out cannot be assigned election duties until the polls conclude.
