Delhi weather update: Delhi, Noida and Gurugram are likely to experience light rainfall with thunderstorms and strong winds on Friday, March 20. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has sounded a yellow alert for Delhi for rain and thunderstorms today. The reason why it is raining in Delhi is that the Western disturbance is currently positioned over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir, bringing heavy rainfall in the Himalayan region.
