Canada's Tumbler Ridge school shooting that killed 8: US woman charged in plot detained

Melody Bryant, charged with conspiracy in a Canadian school shooting, has been detained pending hearings. She allegedly aided Jesse Van Rootselaar, who killed eight people in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia. Prosecutors argue that Bryant's involvement in daily communication with Van Rootselaar constitutes a significant threat to public safety. Her attorney contends that there are no new dangers since her initial interview with federal agents.
