In Karnataka, a man cut his wife's hair which led to a bloodshed in scalp and burnt it in a graveyard on the instructions of sorceress. The man who had three daughters wanted a fourth male child. The woman in her complaint stated that her husband and in-laws had been harassing her over a year and they chopped her hair as the sorceress said there was a devil in her.
