Bengal polls: 'Singham' officer on ground as polling underway in South 24 Parganas

Special police observer Ajay Pal Sharma toured South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, overseeing the second phase of Assembly elections. Despite TMC protests and a High Court move, Sharma coordinated with central forces to prevent intimidation in the sensitive Diamond Harbour area.
